Ninja Assassin

Alright ya’ll this is the big one the head popper that’s right this is Ninja Assassin let me say this now this movie is awesome. This movie is incredibly brutal and has amazing fight scenes it shows how a ninja is known to be in mythical ways very fast and vanish in the shadows, anyways enough of this lets jump on into the movie. So they started it off in a gang house or something with a guy tattooing a pansy complaining like crazy saying the artist doesn’t know what he’s doing. Later he gets a letter with nothing but black sand its kind of like the black spot for pirates being told what is about to happen by the old tattooist they all laugh at him then the blood bath begins the only issue I have about this movie is the blood is so fake. After that it jumps to a scene with a reporter wanting to do a story on these ninjas that no one believes exist using facts that she finds she gets her boss to let her do this report. Later they movie jumps to the main character being a victim of an assassination attempt that failed the beginning has a lot of scene changes but I guess that’s just to quickly go through the introductions. This movie has many flash backs of the main character of the home he ran from. The main character live in an apartment building out of danger from the clan he used to be in’s knowledge making sure he is not found so easily as the reporter is getting into this story of hers she’s becoming a main target of assassination for the clan is best to be kept in secret except to those who pay the clan to assassinate people but she ends up being guarded by the main character so throughout the movie he fends off all assassination attempts on the reporter but he does this for his own gain, he uses her to get to his father well foster dad. So that basically the movie definitely worth buying this movie is the type that brings your eyes stuck to the screen.

Karate Kid (The new version)

Well its time for a recreation of the old movie Karate kid and let me tell you it is not good at all it starts in the U.S where we meet the main character Dre. They’re moving to China Just like the old movie they move to a new area. Trust me that’s not the only thing taken from the first movie and shoved into this one but in a different way like how Dre makes a friend and the guy helps him bring in the luggage although the funny thing Mr. Han the replacement for Mr. Miagi holds up his chop sticks when a fly is flying around him but instead of trying to catch it he uses a fly swatter so of course his friend invited him to some gathering in a park instead of a beach and play basket ball instead of soccer. Like seriously I don’t really need to talk about this movie since it’s a complete remake in a different way if you’ve seen the old movies this is the same thing but different as well. It’s a good movie for anyone who hasn’t seen the old movies but for people who have will probably spend most of the time wanting to watch those older versions it’s probably worth watching if you’re not like me only thinking about all the stuff that have been changed can honestly say I hope they don’t try to remake the second part.

Tekken the movie

Alright Tekken what can I say about this movie other then it’s completely amazing for a video game based movie, not sure if I can say it’s better than mortal kombat the movie considering the age difference but it does blow mortal kombat 2 out of the water, but then again mortal kombat 1 blew mortal kombat 2 out of the water. Anyways I love this movie but I have to say I was kind of disappointed at the beginning cause I played the games and Jin wasn’t what I was expecting,  I was expecting someone who looked older and the hair wasn’t the same I didn’t even know it was Jin until his name was said anyways onto the movie.

So the movie starts off explaining what happened, why the world is the way it is, talking about government and corporations, kind of also does a fearless opening. Shows a little bit of the tournament then go back but it only goes back 5 days here. So this takes place mainly in the “slums of the city known as the anvil”, has a nice little parkour starting with Jin running from people, so basically Jin works as a for lack of better word delivery boy delivering stolen items that he took himself, getting paid very nicely he goes around paying off debts and buying stuff you can’t seem to get anymore such as an orange. Yea that’s right an orange apparently oranges and other common purchases these days are rare and expensive, so moving on to after all of the spending Jin returns home to his mother he gives an orange to her but she seems to be upset seeing that oranges are expensive she worries about his safety, they get into an argument and Jin walks out. Meeting up with a friend he gives her some chocolate that he bought and apparently that’s good enough to give him a special reward *wink wink*  while this is going on soldiers of Tekken are searching the area for him and the rebels he sold the stolen item as well. They find the rebels but not Jin instead they decide to ask the mother where he is being impatient the son of the Tekken leader to blow up Jin’s house even with the soldiers still inside While Jin ran back in time to witness this. After the explosion Jin searches around the house and finds a box containing stuff from his mothers past doing so he found something shocking enraging him and swearing vengeance against Heihachi (Leader of the Tekken corp.) he decide to enter the Iron fist tournament but to do so he has to defeat a Tekken fighter known as Marshal Law, who looks too big to be him considering he was a skinny Bruce lee spoof in the game. Whatever so of course he wins the fight or the movie would have been over right then and there, anyways lets zoom on to the part where Jin enters Tekken  city during that time there’s a board meeting or whatever they’re doing listing all the fighters they’re 10 listed fighters, during this time Jin is being scanned for any illegal enhancements and finally gets his signature pants from the game with a minor difference the difference being the color. So they start off the tournament with capoeira Vs ninjutsu and get this they actually place a stage for the fights kind of like a fight at a certain environment which I find amazing, after the first few rounds Jin sneaks out with a sexy brunette by her choice  after a night of partying Jin returns to his room to be ambushed by 2 assassins ordered by Kazuya (Heihachi’s son) after finding out a little shock of information. After that they enter round 2 first fight is between the sexy brunette and 1of the assassins that Jin identified zooming on through seems that Kazuya has mutinied against his own father taking over the corporation and arresting the fighters and Heihachi but they later escape well only 3 fighters and Heihachi escaped after finding a place to hide Heihachi found a secret about Jin and decide to talk to him alone pulling off a Star wars thing saying Kazuya his Son is Jin’s father. They are found moments later by Tekken soldiers ordered to be searched by Kazuya as well as ordering the execution of his own father Grand pa Jin. So now we go back to the tournament entering the semi’s as Kazuya mentions to the world that the fighters will now fight to the death and just like fearless we return to the point where the beginning left off with a little bit of flash backs.

Anyways the rest is wicked like I said I love this movie it’s for sure a movie to buy or at least rent if you do not buy movies, even I want to buy it for the sake of having it. And that concludes this review.

The Forbiden Kingdom

I personally love this movie, stars 2 of the greatest martial artist actors Jet Li and Jackie Chan, who wouldn’t love this combination of ass kicker. So this movie of epic proportions starts it off with the monkey king training with his golden staff then gets jumped by guards but the guards get their butts kicked, but it turns out to be a dream a martial arts fanatic was having. After that it jumps to the credits being showed on a bunch of martial arts posters nice way to roll the credits. So this takes place in china town, the kid enters a pawn shop recognized by the owner since he goes there many times for the martial arts movies the kid notices a door opened to a storage room to find the golden staff found in his dream.
Later his bikes back to his town to get called over to a girl who was wondering what he was doing in china town but gets encountered by a bunch of thugs who find out he’s friends with the shop owner force him to go back at night to raid the place for cash the owner sneaks to the back grabs the staff and hits one of the thugs the “leader” pulls out a gun and shoots the owner the kid runs away with the staff after the owner tell him to bring it to the rightful owner the thugs chase him to the roof of the building, the thug corner him and try to calm the leader down after the argument the staff end up pushing the kid off the roof falling to the ground brining him to ancient china he wakes up in a hut to a Chinese lady unable to understand her he leaves in a scared feeling looking outside he wonders where he is he tries to ask around to know where he is but since he’s not Chinese he doesn’t understand the person he asks moments later the village is being raided by a group of soldiers killing and imprisoning the villagers the kid gets spotted and starts running as 3 mounted soldiers start chancing him once they catch up to him a drunken traveler approaches on a horse when reaching the 3 guards to horse turn making him fall off he wakes up and walks towards the guards asking questions one of the guards try to kick him but the drunken traveler catches his foot and pull the guard off his horse the other 2 guards drop from their horses and attack the drunk to end up losing the fight for the drunk knows drunken fist when the drunk is finished kicking the guards asses he notices the staff held by the kid and is asking him questions but the kid cannot understand him and tries to explain that he can’t but then for some reason he ends up understanding him right when he sais “that’s cause you’re not listening” so they get on the horse and run to a town they talk to each other in a restaurant they talk about how the kid end up there and what the staff is and the monkey king’s story, after the story and explanations a few guards enter the restaurant doing a search I guess the kid pays the tab with paper money and the inn keeper was freaking out going what the hell is this goes to the guard and tells him about this weird money the kid used to pay for the food and drinks the guard then walks up to them and asks where he got the weapon trying to fool the guards they threatened to kill the kid if he didn’t hand it over but of course they refuse which ends up in an epic fight scene after the small amount of guards get beaten more guards come causing them to run soon after they meet up with a skilled child as she introduces her self she follows the drunk and the kid later on passing through a trail they get to know each other a little more resulting in the drunks choice to leave them but the kid asks the drunk to teach him kung fu night time arrives they set up camp during that time a soldier reports to the warlord about the kid and the weapon he carries telling about his failure he gets angry and kills the soldier reporting this, the morning after the kid wakes up alone start looking around yelling out the names of the people that travel with him and spots a wanderer the wanderer ends up take the staff and runs off on horse back the other 2 catch up to the kid asked what happened they start looking for the wanderer and find him in a temple to retrieve the staff while retrieving the staff the wanderer decides to follow them on their quest meanwhile a woman is retrieving information on the kid and his whereabouts later on we find the travelers passing through a dessert to reach the mountains the make camp in a cave while a sand storm a going on after the storm passes they finally spot the mountains and now its back to training for the kid when they take a break the woman catches up to them trying to steal the staff for the warlord has promised a great gift the travelers take off escaping the woman and her group of bandits they reach a temple and stay a night talking to each other the kid doesn’t like the outcome of their discussion and decides to disobey after that the rest is fighting along with a bit of story



This movie is amazing I recommend it to anyone who likes martial arts action or comedy because they’re many parts that are total lol definatly a must buy or at least rent if you don’t buy movies.

Ong Bak 3 (2010)

This is a review on this not verry exciting movie it has it's moments about 5 seconds in and 3/4 the way through, it starts off showing past events of the main characters life through out the movie though i felt as if i was watching a 1.5 hour trailer there were so many cut scenes so after the intro they start it off with the main character as a prisoner goin through many torturus beatings for offending the emporer. After the intro it cuts to a small village with many ill people, shows around giving some part of the story then it cuts once again to the main character getting tortured once again then cuts once again the a flash back of his past memories, (this movie was realy all over the place scnens didn't last long enough to catch my interest because shortly after the torture scene it cuts to a different person it is pretty obvious what the character is but i wont ruin it for those who acctualy want to rent/buy/download so after that short scene it cuts once again to a different person a monk to be specific i think you guys get the idea of how this is its just my opinion of this movie about it being not that great the fight scenes were worth watching the story is not bad but there were to many scene changes
